How to Connect Your Sungrow Battery and Inverter with HUGO Pro

We’re pleased to announce that Sungrow batteries and inverters can now be seamlessly integrated with the HUGO Pro platform. Follow the step-by-step instructions below to connect your device and unlock smarter energy management.

Step-by-Step Guide to Connecting Your Sungrow Device

1. Visit the Sungrow Developer Portal

• Begin by navigating to the Sungrow Developer Portal registration page:

2. Register for an Account

If you do not already have an account, follow these steps to create one:

• Complete the registration form with your details.
  • Important: Select the European Server during the sign-up process.
• Verify your email address when prompted.

3. Add Your Device

Once logged into your account:

• Go to the Dashboard.
• Click on Applications in the top right corner.
• Select Create Application and follow the on-screen instructions.
  • Important: When creating the application, set “Authorize with OAUTH2.0” to “NO”.
• Once added, your device will appear under the “My Applications” section.
• The device status will initially show as “Pending Review”. Approval may take some time, so please be patient.

4. Retrieve Device Details

• Click the notepad icon under the “Action” column.
• A new page will display the following details:
  • API Key
  • Secret Key
    • Make note of both keys for later use.
• You will also need the following Sungrow account credentials (from Sungrow Web Portal or the iSolarCloud mobile app):
  • Username / User Account
  • Account Password

5. Connect to HUGO Pro

Use the following credentials to link your Sungrow device with HUGO Pro:

• API Key
• Secret Key
• Sungrow Account Username
• Sungrow Account Password

This will enable seamless data integration for monitoring and managing your energy usage.
