Hugo has now launched EV Chargers on its market-leading multi-asset platform.
We’ve added easee, enel x, eo, Garo, wellbox, Charge AMP, chargepoint, EV Boox, Tesla, go-e, Ohme, Zaptec and GivEnergy chargers to Hugo Pro. These are free if you already have an EV subscription.
Now, you can find out how much it really costs to charge your EV.
EV Charging Losses:
When charging an electric vehicle (EV) at home, the output power from the charging station isn’t the same as the power delivered to the vehicle due to losses in the charging process. These losses primarily occur in the form of heat generated during the transformation of electrical energy from your home into the battery of the EV. Factors such as the charging station’s efficiency, the charging cable’s type and length, and the temperature can all contribute to these losses. Therefore, the power consumption at home for charging an EV will be higher than the power actually stored in the vehicle’s battery. It is important to consider these losses when calculating charging costs and the overall energy efficiency of the EV charging process.
Now with both your EV Charger and EV you can see this data and analyse it. Please note our EV Chargers are in beta mode. So if you have any queries please don’t hesitate to message [email protected]
Additional EV Charger functions include setting charging schedules and visibility over the charging rate.
